WILTING BEAUTY
This recent series was an attempt to bridge the stylistic gap between my still life and portraiture photography. Shot on large format film, I was trying to make a range of old/wilted plants look as beautiful as possible. Drawing inspiration from Avedon's 'In the American West', the set received a finalist nomination at the Association of Photographers (AOP) Student Awards 2022 and were displayed at FREE RANGE gallery in the Truman Brewery, London. Prints of these images are available so if you are interested then please get in touch. The set is currently ongoing and I intend to increase the number of images by the end of the year.
